Taking a break from my French homework to post, yayz. On Saturday, Melissa and I went to Brick Lane to go to the Vintage Kilo Sale. A sale in which there are rails upon rails of amazing vintage, you rummage through them, find whatever you want and pay by weight, only £15 per kilo! I got three items and paid £20, which roughly works out to be about £6 per item, which is pretty darn awesome considering I got quite heavy pieces of knitwear. Then afterwards, we went on a stroll around the vintage shops of Brick Lane as none of the stalls were open because it was a Saturday and market day is Sunday :( But we still had a good time nonetheless, which includes being advised on where/how to take outfit photos by a strange man, going to another kilo sale in Brick Lane and eating some yummy food.
I'm currently catching up (and by 'catching up' I mean 'frantically trying to cram in a whole week's worth of homework into one day') on my half term homework which is killing me quite frankly. But it's ok, I've got sour pastilles and Florence and the Machine playing to get me through this tough time. If you didn't already know, I'm a huge fan of Florence and her lovely machine and I can't wait for the release of Ceremonials (tomorrow, yay!) but for now, I've been playing this on repeat to keep me going:
